Monthly community service groups with local partners
Bi-weekly peer mentoring groups called “Lettie Pate Dates”

Freshman meetings and activities focus on helping students gain a better understanding of personal strengths, interests and talents by encouraging engagement with the campus community and their cohort guide.
Sophomore year focuses on helping students assess whether they are pursuing the most appropriate majors, on- and off-campus work, and co-curricular activities that will allow them to pursue future aspirations; this year includes a meeting inviting others invested in the student’s education to join the conversation.
Junior year meetings and activities help students connect with opportunities to deepen experiences they have already had and begin to integrate those pursuits with their academic interests; discussions shift from self-discovery to community investment while researching career path options and filling gaps in their experiences.
Senior year focuses on goal-setting for future after Berry.
