Current Grantees

We provide need-based scholarships for female Christian students in nine Southeastern states. We also support the care of senior women.

Grantees must submit the following requirements each year using our grant portal. Please log in with the credentials of the designated primary contact for your institution. Otherwise, you will be unable to view or submit requirements.

Note we do not make grants to individuals. If you are seeking a scholarship or senior care assistance, please contact your institution for information about Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation support.

Educational Institutions

  • Grant Acceptance Letter (due no later than March 15): Click “Submit Other Requirements” above to go to the grant portal. Log in with the credentials of your institution’s primary contact. Then click the “Requirements” tab to view and submit your grant acceptance letter. Upload a PDF of a signed letter on letterhead confirming acceptance of our proposed grant. You will also be asked to accept grant conditions.

  • Scholarship Report (due no later than September 1): Click “Submit Other Requirements” above to go to the grant portal. Log in with the credentials of your institution’s primary contact. Then click the “Requirements” tab to submit an online report of scholarships awarded by your institution. The report asks for details about each student who receives funds from the Foundation.

  • Statistical Report (due no later than September 30): Click “Submit Other Requirements” above to go to the grant portal. Log in with the credentials of your institution’s primary contact. Then click the “Requirements” tab to view and institutional data for the most current academic year.

  • Grant Request Letter (due no later than September 30): Click “Submit Grant Request Letter” above to go to the grant portal. Log in with the credentials of your institution’s primary contact. You will be taken to the online form to submit your grant request letter. Upload a PDF of a signed letter on letterhead providing an update on your institution and requesting grant consideration for the upcoming year.

Senior Care Institutions

  • Grant Acceptance Letter (due no later than March 15): Click “Submit Other Requirements” above to go to the grant portal. Log in with the credentials of your institution’s primary contact. Then click the “Requirements” tab to view and submit your grant acceptance letter. Upload a PDF of a signed letter on letterhead confirming acceptance of our proposed grant.   • Senior Care Report of Awards (due no later than September 1): Click “Submit Other Requirements” above to go to the grant portal. Log in with the credentials of your institution’s primary contact. Then click the “Requirements” tab to submit an online report of individual awards made by your institution. The report asks for details about each person who receives funds from the Foundation.

  • Grant Request Letter (due no later than September 30): Click “Submit Grant Request Letter” above to go to the grant portal. Log in with the credentials of your institution’s primary contact. You will automatically be taken to the online form to submit your grant request letter. Upload a PDF of a signed letter on letterhead providing an update on your institution and its programs and requesting grant consideration for the upcoming year.
