Cohort Highlights:
Make larger scholarship awards to juniors and seniors
Selection based on financial need and a commitment to serve the community at large; applicants submit an essay describing their background, their interest in leadership or research, how they collaborate with diverse populations, and how they will use their new skills to advance healthcare
Two-year program with two focus areas: leadership development and research development
Recipients participate in leadership learning/research learning sessions, mentoring, activities within the School of Nursing, and service within the community.
The program develops skills in the following core competencies: philanthropy, communication, building and sustaining relationships, self-awareness, supporting diversity and inclusion, execution, influence, innovation and leading change.
